BACKGROUND Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa sought fresh ideas and a new creative for their print media promoting the luxurious Spa Grande. Starting without any specific direction from the client, Glick Design created an original print ad playing on the word "rocks". The result is a clean design with generous use of white space showcasing a beautiful photograph evocative of the spa experience. SUMMARY Spa Grande continues to be a popular spa destination in Hawai‘i. Glick Design was awarded a 2006 American Graphic Design Award in the creative print media category for this concept and graphic design.
