NEWS: 2018 AMERICAN GRAPHIC DESIGN AWARDS Glick Design has been recognized with three 2018 American Graphic Design Awards:

Stonepine Estate is a 330-acre, five-star estate in Carmel Valley, California featuring a 1920’s-era French Chateau, several estate houses and an Equestrian Center. Stonepine’s owner hired Glick Design to review their website and then re-design it from scratch. New Home Page masthead graphics were just the starting point. A new color palette, typography, photo selection, and navigation plan was created. Robert Glick shot some of the new photography and wrote the copy. When the project was completed and launched, the client wrote “Thank you for all the effort you put into redesigning Stonepine’s website. The pictures you chose and the copy you wrote are exactly what I was looking for. It also appears that the new navigation format will work much better than in the past.” The site won the 2018 AGDA in the Website Design category.

Maui Ocean Center “Constantly Moving Whale Migration” Exhibit Wall The MOC exhibit design team hired Glick Design to design and illustrate a central wall panel for the new whale exhibit. It will celebrate the Humpbacks of Hawaii by bringing these animals to Maui Ocean Center through cutting-edge visual and audio technology. The exhibit space will focus on the whales’ nomadic lifestyle, and their behaviors at any given point of their migration. The winning graphics are displayed in our Top 25 Portfolio. The site won the 2018 AGDA in the Exhibits Design category.

Glick Design is the result of transitioning away from the previous HTML coded site to a sleeker and cleaner iteration. Some serious editing was required to pair down scores of design examples and create the site’s “Top 25” Portfolio. The Home Page features a new iMac graphic illustration and the sets the tone for the simplified design with ample white space. The site won the 2018 AGDA in the Website Design category.
